most of my ancestors were minions.
they followed the coin. where there was a man who held land or had factories that’s where my ancestors would be.
they were farmers, clearers of land, laborers
soldiers
And the bearers of many oh so many children
they seeped into this continent
onto the coast and along the waterways. Doing the bidding of those whom they followed.
they were the colonizers
we are the settlers.
